Cricket Pavilion Stairs, Bordon

We were appointed to supply and install two identical steel staircases for a cricket pavilion in Bordon, replacing existing timber stairs that had deteriorated beyond repair. The brief required the new staircases to replicate the original appearance as closely as possible while providing a durable, long-term solution suitable for heavy seasonal use.

Given the pavilion’s peak occupancy during the cricket season, the programme was critical. Works were carefully planned to minimise disruption and ensure the facility remained operational throughout its busiest period. A detailed site survey was undertaken to capture existing levels and interfaces, allowing precise detailing prior to fabrication.

Both staircases were fabricated off-site and delivered in sequence to support an efficient installation process. Coordination with the client ensured that removal of the existing structures and installation of the new steelwork was carried out within the agreed timeframe.

The package was completed on time and within budget, providing a robust replacement solution that maintained the character of the original pavilion while significantly improving durability and long-term performance.
